Produced in Spring 2025, “When a Doveweed Blooms,” was written and directed by Sarah Picard as the winner of the Geaux Film Grant, offered by LSU. The cinematography was done by Abbie Lestrade, and was shot on an ARRI Amira 4K.

The film is still undergoing its festival run, but stills have been provided below. Recently, the film took home awards in “Best New Work” at the New York Chain Festival in New York.
